Clint Eastwood’s 2019 film, Richard Jewell, revisits the 1996 Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta, and the relentless investigation and media storm surrounding the prime suspect – security guard Richard Jewell. TRRU president Rebekah Jones was Centennial Park Coordinator for the film – a bit of a surreal experience given that she was the Production Manager of the Southern Crossroads Festival at the Park during the ’96 Olympics.
